The Peace of Wild Things

In the sun-drenched expanse of the Southwestern United States, Summertime unfolds as a wild and quiet memory.

The summer of 2017 presented a remarkable opportunity for adventure in the form of a family road trip. It was a time capsule whispering of chance and our unstructured days dissolved into the dust of a peacefully withered landscape.

Where childhood curiosity is unencumbered by the weight of tomorrow, this is where we long for simplicity. A reminder of what it means to roam freely, to exist without the confines of expectation and where we recall our own summers of abandon. Where freedom, however ephemeral, is a sanctuary found in the wild.

You may know the names of these places,  you may know their meaning. Perhaps you will recall the scent of the quiet Earth, or the windswept kiss of ancient dust.

Through our explorations, we continue to respectfully offer the memory of our passage to these sacred lands, as so many have before us.
